Wellington Crescent has reopened after a commercial truck lodged under a bridge and cut off traffic for hours on Wednesday.
Winnipeg police said the road was reopened to traffic shortly after 5:30 p.m. It had been closed in the early afternoon near the train bridge in Wellington Park after the truck got stuck under the bridge.
The truck crashed under a bridge that had broken part of the roof of the truck’s trailer.
Police said the truck was successfully removed and the bridge was deemed safe.
