When it comes to dining in Montreal, it seems like there are a million and one places to choose from. Fortunately, there are rankings such as “Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants in 2022” that help us narrow our search a bit.
This year, 21 Montreal restaurants were in the Top 100: some landmarks were on the list, such as Joe Beef and Le Vin Papillon, and lesser-known ones were given their time to shine.
These are all the restaurants in Montreal that have made this new ranking:
- Wine My Rabbit # 6
- Monarch # 17
- Express # 21
- I Mousso # 2
- Joe Beef # 26
- Montreal Square # 31
- Pastel # 39
- Pichai # 45
- June I # 49
- Butterfly wine # 52
- Public House # 55
- Nora Gray # 58
- Milos # 59
- The clown # 60
- Marconi # 65
- Gia # 69
- Floating Island # 70
- Mastard # 81
- Beaumont # 84
- Paloma # 85
- Elena # 91
Montreal ranks first on the list in sixth place because, according to the top 100 in Canada, the top five places to eat outside our country are in British Columbia or Ontario. If you’re ever planning a trip to Vancouver this summer, adding “Published on Main Dinner” to your to-do list seems like a good idea, as it was ranked as the best restaurant in the country!
But if you’re ever staying at 514 this summer (there’s nothing wrong with that), we might recommend booking a reservation at one of the city’s top 21 places. Anyway, they are basically a culinary journey in itself!
