Three adult men remain missing after Sacramento County lawmakers responded to a possible drowning on California’s Three Mile Slough Bridge, authorities said. On Sunday, five adults were by the river near a child swimming in the water, according to a spokesman for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office. When the boy began to drown, he added, the five adults entered the river to save them. The boy was successfully rescued, but three of the adults did not get out of the water. “Deputies scoured the waterways with negative results,” the spokesman added. “After exhausting all search efforts, MPs focused on recovery.”
