3 killed, 14 shot dead in Chattanooga, Tennessee

At least three people have been killed and 14 shot dead outside a nightclub in Chattanooga, Tennessee, which is the second largest mass shooting in the city in the past week.

Two people were killed by gunshot wounds and a third was killed after being hit by a car, according to Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy. Three more people were injured by vehicles fleeing the scene.

The chief told reporters the shooting was an “isolated incident” and said there were probably “several shooters”.

Murphy said the circumstances of the shooting are still unknown and asked for the public’s help in obtaining information.

“No matter how small and insignificant you may think it is … get in touch with us,” he said.

The identities of the victims and the suspects have not been revealed.

Last weekend, six teenagers were shot in the center of Chattanooga during a clash between two large groups. No arrests have been made, this shooting as well.

This is a developing story. Please check for updates again.
