Bear sprayed by a stranger

Three people were sprayed with pepper and one of them was hit with a gun next to Kneller Court around 11:15 pm on May 25, 2022.
The Kelowna RCMP is looking for a man who last night sprayed three people and then hit one of them in the head with a gun.
It happened around 11:15 in the 1160 block of Kneller Court in Rutland.
The RCMP says a woman and two men were walking around the area when the suspect approached them from behind and asked, “Can you help me?”
When the three turned around, the assailant sprayed them with a bear and then assaulted one of the men, hitting him on the head with a weapon. The victim of the assault was taken to Kelowna General Hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect fled on foot, heading north to Kneller Court.
RCMP police dog services were called to the scene to try to locate the suspect, but he is still alone.
He wore all his black clothes with a white hood or hat, a dark bandana with white markings, and a black backpack.
