Police are investigating after a woman became unconscious after an apparent random attack on Kipling station.
It happened around 11:15 p.m.
Police say a suspicious man approached a woman in her 60s and assaulted her, knocking her unconscious.
The victim was resurrected at the scene, but was later taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, paramedics say.
The suspect has fled the scene and has not yet been located.
The incident comes after another “random attack” on Kipling station last month in which a woman was allegedly set on fire. This woman was rushed to hospital with second- and third-degree burns, but succumbed to her injuries earlier this week.
One suspect faces several charges in connection with this incident.
