“My life for the last two years has been nothing short of truly magical,” Nittolo wrote in an Instagram post on Saturday. “Ray and I share a deep love that I will keep in my heart forever.”
“We laughed every day and we were inseparable. The chemistry was wild in the best way,” he said. “He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of him. The kind of real love one dreams of.”
“She was the most beautiful person inside and out I’ve ever met … and even that is an understatement.”
Nittolo also posted several photos of her with the “Goodfellas” star.
Liotta announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram in December 2020, and wrote that she “asked the love of my life to marry me and thank God she said yes!”
Liotta died Thursday at age 67 while sleeping while working on a movie called “Dangerous Waters,” according to her publicist.
In addition to Nittolo, he is survived by his daughter, Karsen, from his seven-year marriage to actress Michelle Grace.
