Katherine Ryan has said Jennifer Lopez’s decision to take her husband Ben Affleck’s last name “doesn’t make sense.”
The 52-year-old singer recently married the 49-year-old Hollywood actor in Las Vegas and documents from Clark County’s record label show she signed her marriage license to the surname Affleck.
Comedian Katherine didn’t seem impressed that Jennifer changed her legal name after a hugely successful career known by her maiden name.

He wrote on Twitter: “Changing your name doesn’t make much sense to me, but it doesn’t make any sense when you call yourself Jennifer Lopez and you’re J-Lo, Jenny from the blog, and you rode the 6 day and night. To grow that name, but okay, Jen Affleck … ‘
Katherine’s opinion divided social media users and some suggested that Ben Affleck should have taken Jennifer’s name, while others insisted it was Jennifer’s choice as she would like to be known.
In support of Jennifer, one user wrote, “She can do whatever she wants. The choice is hers,” while another told Katherine to “redo,” while another said, “This isn’t good looks “.
Another user said, “She can do whatever she wants.” It’s also in the honeymoon stage, so you still haven’t thought about its trade name.

Another user suggested Jennifer Affleck’s name “doesn’t feel right.”
It was reported that the couple had reactivated their relationship in April 2021, with Jennifer confirming that they were together again that July.
