A COUPLE who won a £ 105 million lottery that changed their lives has kept their heads out of the clouds so as not to splash money on luxury engines.
Builder Steve Thomson, 42, and wife Lenka, 41, bought a van and a second-hand car after winning the huge unexpected, and even went on to do their own DIY.

The couple has refused to spend for it after their mega jackpot, the tenth largest in the UK.

Steve said it was key for his children to have their own rooms, but promised to renovate the place himself.
He said: “The children finally have their own rooms. It’s a simple thing, but it was all they ever wanted.
“I still haven’t gotten over what happened to us, and honestly I’m still trying to process it. Looks like yesterday we were in our old lives – it’ll take a while to adjust.
“We’re very lucky to be in this place, but there’s a lot of work to be done, so for now I’ll focus on that.”
After winning the EuroMillions, Steve, who adapts to windows and conservatories, continued to work to complete his pending orders.
