Vivica A. Fox was very excited about Jada Pinkett Smith’s “self-righteous” response to Will Smith’s now infamous slap to Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
The “Kill Bill” actress appeared on “The Wendy Show” on Thursday, and guest co-host Carson Kressley asked her what she thought of Jada’s recent comments on her “Red Table Talk.”
“It’s going to be hard for me,” began Fox, 57, who was already beginning to suffocate. “These are my teammates. I’ve made a movie with both of them.”
She starred with Jada on “Set It Off” and Will on “Independence Day,” the last of which she said “absolutely changed my life.”
“It made me cry,” Fox said of Jada’s comments. “I really felt like being a partner of Will Smith, whose career basically collapsed that night … I felt like a good partner, there was no responsibility.”
The “Two Can Play That Game” star then said, “Let’s not forget Chris Rock was attacked. We can’t forget.”
Fox, however, said he had a “love for the Smiths” and their children, whom he “saw growing up,” but only wished we had had a little more responsibility and not seemed so self-righteous on the part of Jada. “
Kressley, 52, added that she thought the “Girls Trip” star looked like a “robot” in the clip, and Fox agreed, “It was a little cold.”
On Wednesday, Jada said in the latest episode of her Facebook Watch series that it is her “deepest hope” that Will and Rock, 57, “will have a chance to heal, talk and reconcile. -se “.

While Fox disapproves of Jada’s response, he recently told Page Six that he applauds Will for addressing the incident moments after he passed during his acceptance speech for Best Actor for his starring role in “King Richard.”
“I love that Will was man enough to get up and apologize that night, you know?” she told us. “Who knows what happened to him, but we’ll pray for him. It’s still Will Smith. It’s still Will Smith.”
