Quin Snyder resigns as jazz coach

Snyder has resigned as head coach of the Utah Jazz after eight seasons, ESPN sources told Adrian Wojnarowski.

Snyder had two years left for his agreement, including his own option for the final year.

Jazz had been trying to convince Snyder to return during the offseason, although Snyder decided to resign.

“At the bottom, and what moves me every day, are our players and their passion for the game, their desire to work constantly to improve and their dedication to the team and the Jazz. I firmly believe that they need a new “That’s all. No philosophical differences, no other reason. After eight years, I think it’s time to move on,” Snyder said in a statement.

Jazz plans to start a coach search immediately.
