Australia have made three changes to the second ODI on Thursday night against Sri Lanka after the injury crisis worsened after the first game.
Marcus Stoinis (band), Ashton Agar (band) and Jhye Richardson (omitted) are out of the eleven that won the game one to two on Tuesday.
In his place are rookie spinner Matthew Kuhnemann, Travis Head and Mitchell Swepson.
After losing the draw, Sri Lanka have 1-26 after six overs with Danushka Gunathilaka (12) and Kusal Mendis (0) in the fold.
Pathum Nissanka (14) was the first hitter to fall with a brilliant delivery from rookie Kuhnemann who took an outside advantage.

MATCH CENTER: Australia vs Sri Lanka, second ODI, live score
Earlier, the first overs saw David Warner make uncharacteristic mistakes on the field. In back-to-back balls, he threw three downs, and then fielded a single ball to allow three more runs.
“This is so unusual,” Russell Arnold said in a comment.
Kuhnemann’s left arm enjoyed an innovative season last summer for Queensland. No spinner took more wickets at Sheffield Shield 2021-22 than the 25-year-old, who claimed 25 to 31.88.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka is facing a big blow of its own with the versatile star Wanindu Hasaranga discarded with a stump in his groin.
He has been replaced by Jeffrey Vandersay.
Australia leads the series 1-0 after a bit of magic from Glenn Maxwell saw the tourists chase 7-300 with nine balls remaining.
There is a strong threat that the second ODI will be disrupted by rain with gloomy skies at Pallekele. However, the rain stopped in the draw and the game will start as planned.

With Adam Zampa unavailable, Kuhnemann was called up to the Australian ODI team along with Head and the two players were withdrawn from the corresponding four-day match in Australia A.
Cameron Green was another option to play on Thursday, although there is a reluctance to release him before the two-test series, meaning his inclusion would have affected Australia’s balance sheet.
Instead, head to Australia’s Eleven as it offers extra extras through its part-time turn.
