Matt Black, who fell to the ground and stopped answering phones after his lie was exposed, was seen radiating as he went to work at the Botanica Cafe he runs on Edge Hill in Cairns, in the far north of Queensland. .
Mr. Black couldn’t erase the smile on his face as he carried bags of milk and a loaf of bread to his cafeteria just 24 hours after sharing a rather cheeky state on Facebook about the saga, writing, “We’re still day with Matt Black “.
He then broke his silence to insist that it was just a “larrikin” and that it was all “a joke that turned out to be counterproductive.”
Mr Black said he is known to be a bit misleading with locals and was never expected to appear in the world headlines.

Mr. Black shared a rather cheeky state on Facebook on Friday about the Kim Kardashian saga, writing, “Keeping up with Matt Black.”
“I’m a larrikin, I just do these things,” he told TropicNow.
“People who know me know that I mess things up on social media.”
Mr Black said he left a blatant comment on the Facebook page of a local news outlet saying that Kim and Pete had breakfast in their cafeteria and that it all started from there and the story was global .
“At the end of the day it was a little joke and I was going to clear the record,” he said.
“I’m in a bit of a pickle, that’s for sure, but I’ve had a lot of support, other small businesses say buddy, whether that’s real or not, it’s great marketing.”
Mr Black said he received interest and calls from journalists’ cafeteria around the world before realizing that his little deception had gone out of control.
Black had left a blatant comment on the Facebook page of a local news outlet saying that Kim and Pete were having breakfast in their cafeteria.
Mr Black said on Saturday that the Kardashian saga was simply a “joke that turned out to be counterproductive” and that he is known to be a bit of a cheater with the locals.

ABC Far North was the first media outlet to report on Kardashian, 41, and Davidson, 28, who visited the far north of Queensland.
Mr. Black lied to them about his alleged encounter with the American reality star and his comic boyfriend on Wednesday, making an elaborate thread.
He claimed that his security team asked the cafeteria staff to place their phones on the counter during the couple’s date so that no one could take pictures of them while they were having dinner.
“We had to put our phones on the counter,” he told ABC, adding that the security detail also called for his CCTV footage to remain private.
“It was just me and my bartender, and to be honest, I didn’t know who they were. He’s really out on the circuit with that sort of thing.

Other fans claimed to have seen the star of the Staten Island King venture into a casino the same night.
The Queensland tourist spot has recently become a hub for List A activity thanks to David Michôd’s new film Wizards! rolling there for the next three months.
