Fifteen years ago, Google co-founder Larry Page came up with the idea of building a 360-degree map of the entire world. Google Street View was born out of this simple but ambitious idea.
By 2022, 220 billion Street View images from more than 100 countries and territories are now available, enabling people to fully experience what it’s like to be in these places from their phone or computer.
