A Canberra man will face the ACT investigating court today accused of stabbing another man in the back in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police allege that around 2 a.m., the 36-year-old Belconnen man went to his ex-boyfriend’s home where he was involved in an altercation with the 42-year-old victim, stabbing him.
The 42-year-old man was taken by paramedics to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said his condition had stabilized since then and he was discharged from the hospital.
They said ACT police officers went to a unit in Belconnen yesterday, where they were later involved in a two-hour confrontation with the alleged offender.
He was then finally arrested.
He has been charged with reckless / intentional bodily harm.
