Police have called for information after a man suffered serious head injuries in a Jubilee Weekend assault on Exmouth. The man was attacked by a group of other men and hit in the head with a glass bottle.
Emergency services were called after receiving reports of a man who had been seriously injured in an “altercation” between The Strand and St Andrews Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday 4 June. . The victim, a local man in his 50s, was reportedly attacked by the group of men, and suffered a head injury believed to have been caused by a glass bottle.
He was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment and was later released. A temporary police cordon was set up near the assault area.

A police spokesman said: “At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with this matter. We would like to hear from anyone in the area on Saturday, June 4 in the afternoon. can help with research “.
