A man has been seriously injured in an “extremely cruel” collision in North Wales, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Chester County Hospital on Monday after being hit by a car in Shotton Lane, Shotton, Flintshire.
Police were called to the scene around 7 p.m. BST after the man, about 60, was hit by a family silver vehicle.
He was said to be heading towards Ewloe from Shotton at the time of the accident.
