Ottawa police say there is no public safety concern after a man was stabbed during a robbery in the far west of Ottawa.
Emergency crews responded to a call for a personal theft incident at 2900 block of Carling Avenue, near Roseview Avenue, shortly after 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Paramedics say an adult male was taken to hospital with stab wounds in a serious but stable condition.
The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is investigating.
“The Ottawa Police Service wants to assure the public that there are no more security issues related to this incident,” police said in a press release.
