A mass shooting at the San Antonio BBQ leaves 2 dead and 5 injured

At least two people were killed and five others were injured in a massive “highway” shooting on Saturday afternoon in San Antonio, a local police chief said.

The seven people were shot at about 10 p.m. journalists during a press conference.

McManus said an unspecified number of people passed by the house and “unloaded” between 20 and 30 rounds. Two of the victims are women and the other five are men; his ages range from 20 to forty, he told reporters.

He also revealed that six children were inside the house while shooting, but that they were not injured.

“Fortunately, they weren’t in front,” he said.

McManus said police did not have a description of the suspects and have “a couple of theories” about the motive for the shooting, while warning that the investigation is in its early stages.

“So far, seven people have been shot in front of the house with a barbecue, a car, several shots, two dead, five injured. Two women, five men,” he said. “Two dead men.”
