“That’s not how anyone wanted Frank’s search to end. Our deepest condolences are to Frank’s family, loved ones and community who have been deeply affected by this tragedy,” the sergeant said. At this time, police said there is no evidence of suspicious circumstances, but as it has just been found, additional investigation will be conducted, including collaboration with the Saskatchewan Forensic Service and an autopsy has been scheduled. .
The chief said they will hold a press conference soon to provide more details. In the meantime, ask for prayers and continued support for the family and community.
Frank Young was last seen on April 19 at his home in the Cree Nation. Over the next few months, extensive research was conducted with the RCMP and various search and rescue teams involved.
