A missing boy from the Cree Nation of the Red Earth is found dead

On Sunday morning, the Carrot River RCMP confirmed this news.

“That’s not how anyone wanted Frank’s search to end. Our deepest condolences are to Frank’s family, loved ones and community who have been deeply affected by this tragedy,” the sergeant said. At this time, police said there is no evidence of suspicious circumstances, but as it has just been found, additional investigation will be conducted, including collaboration with the Saskatchewan Forensic Service and an autopsy has been scheduled. .

Frank Young was last seen on April 19 at his home in the Cree Nation. Over the next few months, extensive research was conducted with the RCMP and various search and rescue teams involved.
