A one-year-old boy has died after falling from the window of an apartment block, police said.
Officers were called to the Saville Green block, Leeds, by ambulance service around 1:25 p.m. Saturday.
The baby was taken to hospital for emergency treatment, but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards, West Yorkshire police said.
Investigations are underway to establish the full circumstances of his death, the force added.
“The incident is being treated as an unexpected sudden death during childhood and we ask people to consider the family and respect their privacy in what is clearly a very difficult time for them,” a spokesman said.
