A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle in the Port Credit neighborhood of Mississauga on Friday afternoon.
It happened on Lakeshore Road on Elmwood Avenue around 2 p.m.
Police say the driver involved in the collision remained at the scene.
Lakeshore Road is currently closed between Elmwood and Oak avenues while police are investigating the scene.
The Peel Regional Police Major Collision Office has also been notified.
