In social media posts, Todd has been remembered as “fierce and savage,” but deeply affectionate.
He was also known for his defense of farmers, repeatedly calling for more support for those affected by the drought.

“We have no money left,” Scott was quoted as saying by AAP in 2019 in an article explaining his battle for the drought.
“We break it down and say that’s what we’re doing so far, and then we’ll re-evaluate it. Otherwise, anxiety and pressure and stress and depression become too much and you can’t function properly.
“Sometimes you drive through the paddock and get up and think what the hell I’m doing.

“How will I do that? I’m just one and I can’t afford more staff or whatever. Right now I’m in the worst place I’ve ever been. “
Todd ran a farm on the Brigalow Downs property near Bollon.
He leaves behind his wife Alison and their three children, Grace, Will and Olivia.
Queensland police are continuing to investigate the crash.
