A Russian man has been arrested by anti-terrorist police on suspicion of spying on Vladimir Putin.
The 40-year-old suspect was arrested by metropolitan police at Gatwick Airport in West Sussex on Monday evening.
The Sun reported that the man was accused of spying in Britain for Russian President Vladimir Putin, and had to get a return flight when he was arrested.
He has been taken to Hammersmith Police Station, west London, for questioning.
The arrest comes after a joint investigation by the anti-terrorist organization Met, SO15 and MI5.
