A large fire near Fulbourn has been captured by a camera by a local resident. Eyewitnesses said it looked like thick smoke was coming out of a burning car.
Scott Bond, a member of the Balsham Village Facebook group, posted yesterday (June 25) two videos of black smoke near Fulbourn houses around 3:30 p.m. The fire is believed to have been located on Balsham Road in Fulbourn, a village near Cambridge.
Scott described the location as close to the “new houses when you first get to Fulbourn by the chicane in front of the rest area”. Fulbourn is located southeast of Cambridge and is approximately two miles from the A11.

Scott said, “I think it could be the car. I’ve been helping divert traffic until services arrived.”
A commenter on the video said everything was clear at 5:44 p.m. No one is believed to have been injured after the incident.
