A woman has been fighting a man who allegedly tried to kidnap her while walking through a park east of Melbourne in the late afternoon.
Police said the 36-year-old woman was walking through Churchill National Park in Lysterfield South on the northern boundary track, just before the stonemason’s track, around 4.15pm on Saturday when a man approached her for behind.
The woman was wearing headphones and was walking when the man grabbed her by the waist and put a hand over her mouth, police said.
