After the BGMI ban was imposed on the game and it was removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store, players have to face a number of issues while playing the game. Although no one can download the game anymore, those who already have it on their devices can play it.
A few days ago, BGMI players got the shock of their lives when the game was banned and disappeared from both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. However, those who had already downloaded the Battlegrounds Mobile India app on their smartphones were able to play it, but now they are reporting more and more bugs spoiling their experience. In the latest development, some iPhone and Android users have reported issues while playing the game.
According to 91Mobiles, several BGMI players have started encountering problems and possible malfunctions related to server issues. “Now reports have started coming in of a possible glitch that is affecting some users playing BGMI in India. An error message saying “The server has not responded. Please go back to the login page and try again “is flashing for some game users,” the 91Mobiles report mentioned.
The report also mentioned that several players have noticed in-app purchase restrictions! Additionally, BGMI players, even in classic mode, have started experiencing server issues, while others have complained of lag and app crashes.
Is BGMI banned in India?
The reason for these errors could simply be due to a bug or because BGMI developer Krafton has taken the servers in India offline after the removal of the game stores, the report suggests. In case the servers are going down, there will be no way for Battle Royale players to play BGMI!
Battlegrounds Mobile India was removed from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store on July 28 under Section 69A of the Indian IT Act. It’s the same law under which the Indian government had banned a bunch of Chinese apps, including PUBG: Mobile a couple of years ago. However, final confirmation from Krafton or the government is yet to clarify the reason.
