For the second year in a row, Netflix is dedicating an entire week to new nerdy ads. Geeked Week is back in 2022 and each day has a different theme. It starts with TV shows on Monday, before going through movies, animation, Stranger Things and games. Basically, there will be many things to keep track of.

Tim Burton is doing things again for Tim Burton with this Addams family spin-off. The mockery does not show much of the show, but it does give the first proper view of Jenna Ortega in the lead role. The series appears as “coming soon.”
Mike Flanagan’s The Midnight Club summons something obscure in his first teaser
Fans of Mike Flanagan’s horror brand, which includes The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and more recently Midnight Mass, are in luck this Halloween. The showrunner’s next series, co-created with Leah Fong, seems to bring much of that same horror when The Midnight Club hits Netflix on October 7th.

The first teaser of the horror anthology doesn’t really show much of what to expect, but it does detail some of the key names behind the project. Although Toro himself is the showrunner and executive producer, he has managed to recruit some notable writers and directors of films such as Mandy, The Empty Man and Splice. Aser, meanwhile, reveals some new cast members: Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Rupert Grint, Kate Micucci and Charlyne Yi. The series has no release date, but is expected to premiere this year.
An update on the second season of Sweet Tooth
The exciting post-apocalyptic adventure Sweet Tooth is back for a second season. And while we don’t have a proper trailer yet, Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes video confirming that filming is over. Netflix says season 2 “will be here soon.”
The first teaser of season 3 of Locke and Key
Locke and Key took a darker turn for their second season, and according to the latest trailer, it looks like this trend will continue in season 3. The story spanning generations about magic keys seems to be more deadly than ever, and the new teaser. it also marks the return of a very important villain. Season 3 will mark the end of the series and will premiere on August 10th.

Before its next season, Netflix has released a short clip of Fate: The Winx Saga, focusing on a new fairy-tale character from the land called Flora. Season 2 has no release date yet, but Netflix says it will “come soon.”

If you missed Warrior Nun when it was released, this new trailer will show you A) why you need to catch up immediately and B) why you should be excited about season 2. There’s a lot of dark magic and shooting tense, moreover, it seems that the titular warrior nun can now walk on water. Season 2 is expected to hit Netflix this winter.

We don’t have any trailers for the second season of Shadow & Bone, but Netflix has confirmed that production is over, so we’ll probably hear more news, including a release date, very soon.
Manifest gets a season 4 trailer
Netflix picked up Manifest, one of a surprisingly large number of disappearing airplane shows, for a fourth season and released a trailer for the series on Geeked Week. The streamer also revealed how seasoned it will be: Season 4 will be split into two parts, each with 10 episodes, though we don’t have a release date yet.
All of Us Are Dead renewed for season 2
The first season of All of Us Are Dead did something quite remarkable: it was a zombie story that felt fresh and interesting. So it’s great news to know that a second season is being prepared, although there are still no details or a release deadline.
