July 29, 2022 – Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Chartwell Thunder Bay Retirement Home (Arundel Street) confirm that an outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at the facility, in Thunder Bay. TBDHU has initiated a comprehensive assessment of the situation. Further action will be taken as necessary to manage this situation.
Prior to the outbreak, important measures were already in place to reduce the likelihood of virus transmission in facilities.
