“He has never played for Newcastle. He’s played in Hunter Valley many, many times, but a lot of people in Newcastle don’t go to Hunter Valley, so we thought we’d do the renovated Newcastle Stadium, and we’re excited about that. “
The farewell tour will end with a show at Los Angeles Dodger Stadium in November next year.
“It’s pretty amazing, really … it’s wonderful to be back for these shows,” Chugg said. “It’s going to be fun and we’re looking forward to it.”
