Anne Heche was involved in a wild accident in Los Angeles on Friday and was taken away by ambulance on a stretcher.
The crash happened shortly after noon in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles. Witnesses tell TMZ he was driving a blue Mini Cooper and crashed into an apartment complex garage.

Residents of the apartment complex attempted to remove Anne from the vehicle, but she put the car in reverse and then drove off. A short time later, it crashed into a nearby house and ignited a fire. The fire was significant and engulfed the house.

Take a good look at the photo of Anne in the car (above)…there is a bottle with a red cap in the cup holder next to the gear shifter, and it looks like a bottle of alcohol.
Anna apparently suffered severe burns in the fire… you see her clothes charred as she is carried away on a stretcher. She is covered with a white cloth, when suddenly she sits on the stretcher and begins to beat violently as they put her in the ambulance.

We do not know the extent of his injuries or burns. We’re told she’s currently in the hospital intubated, but is expected to live. We’re told his condition prevents doctors from running any tests to determine if he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
