Apple will allow users who purchase products through its software to buy now and pay later.
The innovation, which was launched along with a number of other innovations, will allow people to pay in four installments spread over six weeks without any interest.
The new offer will make it compete with fintech companies such as Klarna and ClearPay.
Apple Pay Later will be available anywhere Apple Pay is accepted and managed through Wallet.
The tech giant will also allow users to edit messages after sending them, surpassing Twitter to a long-requested feature.
The iMessage edit button for sent messages was among a number of new features that the company unveiled at its annual software developer conference.
The firm also announced a series of redesigned lock screens that users can set up for different days of the week.
For example, it would mean that people can set up one screen that doesn’t show work-related notifications on weekends, and another for weekdays that doesn’t include social media notifications.

It also joins forces with the Shopify e-commerce platform so users can track their orders using the Apple Wallet app.
Other changes that are being made include: • Better rendering of Maps benchmarks • Live sports results on Apple TV • Video sharing application available in messaging
He said his new MacBook Air laptop had been “completely redesigned” around its new M2 silicon processor, which he says is 35% faster than the previous M1 chip.
