We’ve reached a point where phone makers find it hard to keep some of their secrets a secret. Most major releases are marred by endless leaks and rumors ahead of their official presentation. This turns tech notes into mundane events that herald mostly expected and known products. We can no longer experience the element of surprise to which we were accustomed, at least for the most part. The iPhone 14 line is a few months away. These high-end Apple smartphones may not be announced until September 2022. However, we already know a lot about them and what they could potentially include. Here are all the rumored details about the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Date of publication
It is difficult to know the exact release date of a particular Apple product before the company makes it official. However, Apple has a habit of launching new high-end iPhone lines in the fall. He usually reveals these smartphones during an event that takes place during September. Assuming there are no internal hiccups, we should see the iPhone 14 line in September 2022.
Once Apple makes this line official, key regions like the U.S. and Europe will likely be able to reserve the phone. It should then be shipped in about 2-3 weeks. Other countries tend to have access in the coming weeks.
Prices
There is no way to accurately predict the price of an unreleased Apple device. Although the Cupertino tech giant tends to stay in the same price range with each annual release. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max start at $ 1,000 and $ 1,100, respectively. Therefore, the equivalent of the iPhone 14 should cost about the same, respectively, if we were to make an assumption.
Models of iPhone 14 Pro
Apple usually includes four iPhones in its high-end line: iPhone Mini, iPhone, iPhone Pro, iPhone Pro Max. That could change by the end of the year, unfortunately. According to reports, the company will leave the Mini in favor of a normal variant of Max. However, this does not affect the iPhones Pro, as the options of the Pro and Pro Max models should remain as they are. They will probably have 6.1 and 6.7 inch screens respectively.

One of the most exciting aspects of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is that it could lower the level. It is rumored that these two phones will switch to a punch and pad design. We could also be seeing more rounded corners when it came to conspiring with the usual iPhone 14 or iPhone 13 line. .
Colours
It is difficult to predict the exact colors that Apple will look for before the official launch. However, we can guess what the organization might look like. The company typically uses brighter colors with a glossy glass back on normal iPhones and reserves more serious colors for Pro models with matte backing. Space gray, white, and gold are usually a safe estimate. In addition, rumors point to a potential iPhone 14 Pro Purple. We’ll have to wait for the event to find out for sure. It’s also worth noting that the company sometimes launches new iPhone colors 6 months or so after the initial launch. So if you’re curious about what these colors might look like, wait until mid-2023.
Screen and notches
Hate class, we have good news for you, assuming you are willing to pay for a Pro model. Apple could drop the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch) and the iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch). It has been reported that these phones will have a punch and pill design that is still unique to them. If you decide to buy one of the regular models, you’ll probably be dealing with the same notch as the one currently on the iPhone 13.
The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are likely to support the Always Active Display (AOD) feature. This addition was planned for the iPhone 13, but has been advanced until the next release.
Processors
Apple usually introduces a new A chip with every major release of the phone. While regular iPhone 14 models are expected to retain the same A15 Bionic as the iPhone 13, Pro models could get an improved chip that isn’t even part of the A series. How this chip will be called or what power it will be is still unclear. Ultimately, Apple could aim to distinguish between the performance of normal iPhones and Pro from now on.
Cameras
The Cupertino tech giant has been using a 12 MP Wide sensor on its iPhones for a few years. Finally, that could change with the launch of this year’s iPhone 14 Pro. Apple could upgrade it to a 48 MP sensor. This would further increase the photo and video capabilities of the iPhones Pro. The updated camera will likely be excluded from regular iPhone 14 models.
Software
The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are likely to run iOS 16 out of the box. Instead, Apple could launch them with iOS 16.1 preinstalled. This has happened in recent years and it all depends on the development of iOS 16. However, these two smartphones should receive software updates for many years.
Battery, charging and ports
In the battery department, Apple does not share much when it comes to technical specifications. Instead, it shares the estimated time that a device will last on a single charge performing a given task. It’s usually about 18 hours of video playback on high-end iPhones. What matters, though, is that this device is likely to last you all day, without having to charge halfway. This means that you use your phone sparingly. We don’t expect iPhone 14 models to have significantly longer or shorter battery life.
When it comes to charging, wait for this phone to plug into the Lightning port. Rumors indicate that Apple will not switch to USB Type-C on the iPhone at least until 2023. Obviously, it is almost guaranteed that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will also support the MagSafe and Qi wireless charging standards.
- This year’s iPhone line could support emergency satellite communications. According to reports, the feature will allow you to call for help in areas without service in the event of an accident.
- Finally, the company could include a car accident detection tool that calls emergency services when activated. Apple Watch users can now take advantage of drop detection, and that feature might work similarly.
The iPhone 14 line will launch in September 2022, assuming Apple meets its regular schedule. Given that we are months away from that, many things could change internally. The company could discard plans or introduce new ones before officially viewing the product. Either way, hopefully the tech giant Cupertino has some tricks up its sleeve and will surprise us during the launch event.
