Apple is finally bringing its Weather app to the iPad as part of iPad 16. Finally. The first iPad was launched in 2010 and has not had the official weather app all this time.
The company shared a few screenshots at WWDC 2022, and if you’re familiar with the iPhone app, you’ll find it quite familiar. The background of the app reflects the weather and there is a large statistics board. It’s basically an iPhone app, but it’s the size of a tablet.

It’s unclear why it took Apple 12 years to add a weather app to the iPad, but we’ll. iPadOS 16 includes many new features, including new collaboration features.
