Police are looking for 50-year-old Eric John Shestalo in connection with a shooting at a Chilliwack home early Thursday morning that left two women dead and a man injured.

Police are searching for 50-year-old Eric John Shestalo, who is on the run after a shooting at a Chilliwack home Thursday morning.
People from the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment went to the home in the 9700 block of McNaught Avenue on the northeast side of Fraser Valley Township around 11 a.m. after a report of three people shot
When officers arrived, they found a woman dead, another woman with life-threatening injuries and a man with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene. The second woman was airlifted to Royal Columbian Hospital, where she later died.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the case. Police believe Shestalo was known to the victims and the shooting was targeted.

Shestalo is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 9 inches, 176 pounds, and was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket and a black hat with an orange brim.
He was last seen driving a red 1990 Jeep YJ with a yellow front end and may have BC plates MT981W.
Shestalo also faces charges of assault and uttering threats in connection with two separate incidents in Chilliwack on May 15 and Vancouver on July 6. He has pending court dates scheduled for Aug. 5 in provincial court in Chilliwack and Aug. 11 in Vancouver.
Anyone who sees Shestalo should not approach him and should contact 911 immediately, police said.
“Officers are working to locate Mr. Shestalo, as well as any witnesses to this devastating incident,” said Sgt. Timothy Pierotti of IHIT in a statement. “We urge anyone with information, dashcam footage or residential security footage to come forward and speak to police as soon as possible.”

Investigators are especially interested in witnesses or people who were in the 9700 block of McNaught Avenue between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and who may have seen something or have dash cam footage. They are asked to contact IHIT at 1-877-551-4448 (IHIT).
