A man carrying a loaded pistol at the waist of his pants at Sydney’s CBD on Monday has been charged with gun and drug offenses.
Around 1:20 p.m., police stopped the man after he left an authorized location on George Street.
Upon conducting a search, officers found a Glock 19 pistol loaded with laser vision under the barrel inside the man’s pants.

Another search located what police allege was about 3.3 grams of heroin, 6.6 grams of methylamphetamine and $ 2,100 in cash.
The man was taken to the Day Street police station and charged with eight offenses, including having an unregistered handgun in a public place, a loaded firearm in a public place, as well as three drug supply charges.
He was denied bail and went to court later today.
