(Pocket-lint) – Asus has announced the “first” 500 Hz G-Sync gaming screen in the world.
The Asus ROG Swift 500 Hz gaming monitor is primarily designed for eSports and was unveiled on Monday during Nvidia’s Computex presentation.
Designed from the ground up for competitive PC gaming, the display uses a proprietary E-TN panel (eSports TN) and includes an Nvidia G-Sync eSports mode with adjustable vibration.
It is also optimized for Reflex, with Nvidia Reflex Analyzer support to provide real-time end-to-end latency statistics when combined with an optimized Reflex mouse and a GeForce graphics card.
Of course, the highlight is the amazing 500 Hz refresh rate which, when combined with a capable PC gaming platform, can give players a competitive edge.
