It’s snowing in Big White

Although the valley is experiencing heavy rainfall and flooding, the same weather system in southern British Columbia has brought snow to the Big White ski slopes.
Ski resort webcams show snow all over the mountain, including Village Center, Happy Valley, Easy Street, The Cliff, Telus Park, Black Forest, Snow Ghost and Gem Lake.
At the end of June, cyclists usually prepare to climb the mountain, so it is very unusual for there to be snow at this time of year.
Bike Big White expects to open its Bike Park on June 30, weather permitting.
