It will cost you millions of dollars to jump on a space X flight into orbit. But thanks to a new immersive exhibition we can leave Earth and go into space without stepping on a spaceship.
Neighborhood Earth is an award-winning exhibition that combines the latest science with cutting-edge technology to create an immersive space experience. Developed by Toto Creative, in collaboration with the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and NASA’s George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Neighborhood Earth uses screens, surround sound, and a giant dome with projection maps to explain the history of science and space exploration in a unique way. deep way.
The key piece of the exhibition brings the audience closer to our solar system and closer to the stunning depictions of the sunsets of Mars, the lightning storms of Venus, and the surface of Jupiter. Visitors can also engage in activities adjacent to the cinematic experience, such as touch screen, holographic, and construction games. There are also models and examples of spaceships, tools and astronaut costumes to showcase the facts, history and achievements behind space exploration and encourage visitors to consider their future.
More than a million guests have visited the exhibit since it was launched at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, with stays in seven cities in China and Sydney late last year. The Fever entertainment platform takes you to Melbourne.
The sessions last 90 minutes, with admission every half hour. Tickets start at $ 30 for adults, $ 22 for students, and $ 17 for children.
