A mob attack took BART on Monday to reach San Francisco for the Warriors parade, prompting long queues at ticket booths and limited mobile service at stations.
The traffic agency encouraged people taking the train to avoid long ticket lines by adding the Clipper card app to their phones and adding funds immediately. BART also advised people to download the app in remote areas of the stations for better mobile service.
“The Clipper app is experiencing some issues with payment and purchase,” a Bay Area Clipper tweet said. “We recommend charging your Clipper card before entering @SFBART or moving away from the stations for better mobile service. We currently have an in-house team investigating and apologizing for the inconvenience.”

BART officials said service on the Richmond to San Francisco line resumed at 9 a.m. Monday after the traffic agency canceled the service over the weekend, operating only trains. the orange line. The news came on a day when hundreds of thousands of people are expected to flock to San Francisco for the Warriors parade.
On Monday, passengers coming and going from the Richmond line can expect trains to arrive every 15 minutes in both directions until 20:00, when trains run every 30 minutes.
“Some trains will be orange line trains (from Richmond to Berryessa) and some red line trains (Richmond-Millbrae + SFO),” BART said.
BART added: “Transbay users without direct service can expect a timed transfer between an orange line train (Berryessa) and a yellow line train (SF / SFO) to San Francisco at MacArthur Station. and a timed transfer between a yellow line (Antioquia) train and an orange line (Richmond) train from San Francisco to 19th St. Oakland Station, a shuttle train will be offered between Millbrae and SFO to connect with the yellow line service (Antioquia-SFO).

BART first experienced problems on the red line on Friday due to a power cord failure. Over the weekend, the red line was completely canceled and only trains on the orange line (from Richmond to Berryessa) were running.
It is unclear when direct service between Richmond and San Francisco will resume; the parade of the Warriors is scheduled to begin at 11:20 a.m.
BART said teams are working to identify the location of the cable failure and, once completed, will replace the cable. While the problem is similar to the one that caused the train to be canceled in March 2022, the fault is at a different location along the Richmond line, BART said.
“BART has been working to replace all the old cables along the 10-mile Richmond line, and unfortunately those problems occurred before a complete replacement was achieved,” BART said.
