Republican Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick told O’Rourke, “You’re offline and it’s a shame.”
O’Rourke, as they accompanied him, turned, faced the stage, pointed his finger and said, “It’s up to you until you decide to do something different. This will continue to happen. Someone has to to defend the children of this state or they will continue to be murdered as they were killed yesterday in Uvalde “.
Abbott says the gunman who killed 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school warned on social media minutes before the attack that a school would be fired. He says the shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, used an AR-15 in Tuesday’s attack on Robb d’Uvalde Elementary School.
