The sudden ban of Battlegrounds Mobile India has come as a shock to all mobile gaming enthusiasts and professional gamers.
Without Indian government officials not providing information. BGMI’s fate seems to be the same as what happened to PUBG Mobile last year “Permanent Ban”.
The Indian government reportedly banned BGMI invoking Section 69A of the IT Act. Similar action was taken against PUBG Mobile before the game was banned in India, where data protection and privacy were considered issues of concern.

Mobile esports in India is huge, which was seen in the recently concluded esports tournament, ‘BGMI Masters Series 2022’, has witnessed a record viewership of over 100 million views on the platform of live game streaming, Loco.
According to a post by Esportsgen, it has been speculated that all BGMI professional teams, players and organizations could move to New State Mobile esports. It is a futuristic-style online multiplayer Battle Royale video game similar to PUBG Mobile and BGMI.

PUBG: System requirements new state
According to Krafton, PUBG: New State Android users with 2GB RAM or more running Android 6.0 or higher will be able to play the game. iOS, iPhone 6S and later devices running iOS 13 and later will be able to run the game.
Esportswala, an Indian esports organization that was seen competing in BGMI Showdown 2022, has unveiled the first list of esports for New State Mobile. There have been many instances in the community where teams could enter New State Mobile sports. One such person is Animesh Aggarwal, aka Thug, co-founder of S8ul Esports.
He wrote on one of his Instagram stories: “The new state could be the future! Stop crying start grinding.” He also wrote about the BGMI ban: “We’ve been here in 2020, we surfed it! What we saw was an attitude of complete resignation on the part of most people! It’s not about giving up on keeping the player inside alive! Take the right guidance with the right people and it will be too easy.”
Dr. Rushindra Sinha, CEO and Founder of Global Esports also asked some questions to his followers on “what do they plan to do now?”. One of its options read, “Move on & Play New State,” which could signal its entry into the New State Mobile sports ecosystem soon.
