“National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has tested positive for COVID-19 today,” NSC spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said in a statement. “He is asymptomatic and has not been in close contact with the president.”

Sullivan’s positive test comes days after the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the health secretary Xavier Becerra tested positive by the coronavirus.

“It’s a common cadence. That’s what we do. We’ll share, according to the CDC, when it was a close contact, and it wasn’t a close contact. If it was a close contact, we’ll let you know,” Jean-Pierre said. when asked about Biden’s recent testing program.

When more pressure was pressed on an exact date, as usual, he refused to respond, instead of repeating that Biden is tested weekly.
