Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told “Hannity” Friday that Biden is engaging in the “tokenism” of the midterm elections by adding hundreds of feet and likely claiming he’s doing something about the crisis at the border.
“Morelos Dam gets a lot of traffic, but this is a symbol of the election year for them. That’s all,” he said, referring to a structure not far from where Arizona, California and Mexico, near Los Algondones, Baja. .
However, Biggs predicted that if the wall is built near the dam, many of the 1,000 illegal immigrants who flood into Yuma daily will simply cross over to the Cocopah Indian Reservation.

“So you could close the Morelos dam. You could inhibit maybe 100 or so [migrants] per day And then people will go down to the Cocopah reservation. So they’re not really going to get much.”
Biden and Democrats, however, will use the “token” construction to try to assert that they are taking the illegal immigration crisis seriously, the Gilbert lawmaker reiterated.
