The ironic part of this particular interaction with the White House this week was the president threatened to invoke emergency powers to increase production and output. The irony is that these emergency powers are essentially reversing their own energy policy decisions over the past 18 months. It’s amazing that if that’s what it takes to do it, we’ll do it.
