Surveillance video helped Sarnia police catch two bike thieves.
Police say around 12:45 a.m. Monday, two men attended the Sarnia Bay Marina on Seaway Road and entered the water.
The pair swam into the marina to gain access and allegedly used fender cutters to steal two bikes that were locked.
Police said the two men, bicycles in hand, left the marina through the main entrance and were captured on video surveillance.
Later that day, patrol officers spotted one of the alleged suspects on one of the stolen bikes. They tried to run from the police, but were arrested after a brief fight.
On Tuesday, the second suspect was located and arrested without incident.
Both men, ages 28 and 32, are charged with theft under $5,000.
