It was my first blind date, so a little discouraging from that point of view, but it didn’t take us long to laugh a little at how weird the situation is, and then get stuck talking to each other. It was good. In the end, it seemed like we had been friends for years.
Jess is lovely, she is super bubble. Really, very energetic and talkative and makes a lot of gestures with his hands. He is very forceful when he talks about things he likes. It would be impossible not to be absorbed in a very pleasant conversation with her. She is a good conversationalist. We got it right very quickly.
We did all the “What do you do for a living? What are your hobbies? “And all that, but you know, with some dates you go through the movement and it’s boring, but with us, while we were doing it, it was still a lot of fun. I just remember we both smiled and laughed all over. time.
I had some of these questions about the “appointment card”. The conversation didn’t calm down at all, but whenever she did, even for a nanosecond, she would come in and say, “Okay, okay, I have one” and so one of the good ones was, “If I won lottery, what would be your reaction at the newsstands and what would be the first thing you buy? ” Not the big buy, the first one.
We talked about foods you shouldn’t eat on a first date. I said, “These chicken wings look great. But I think I’ll just hold on to them for the second date.” it’s about eating pub food. And we said, “If you get to a second date, all bets are off.” Just go straight into the food.
We exchanged numbers and saw a couple of messages. I think we both probably felt the same, but it was a very nice night. We enjoy the company of others. So I would definitely think that there is potential for a second date.
Verdict: 9/10

It was very, very good. I had a lot of fun. And Cam is great. The whole appointment was much better than I could have expected. I couldn’t stop smiling all the way home.
Honestly, I was trying so hard not to think about it. I think the beauty of being a blind date, you know nothing about. And if all else fails, that’s fine. You owe nothing to this person.
I ended up going to the wrong restaurant. I entered the place next door, so I arrived a little late. I noticed Cam’s energy right away and he’s a handsome guy too, so I said, “Yeah.” I’m a little weird, a little quirky, I think that’s probably the best way to describe me, so it was an instant connection. He’s a really great guy, with a great sense of adventure. At one point, he accidentally dropped his father’s yacht.
He works as a geologist, which he does two by two in the last appointments I have had. In general, I would try to avoid going out with people who do mining jobs. I know it’s a very tricky lifestyle to lead, but he told me he doesn’t really do FIFO too often. Only once every two months does it come out.
He does a reading club with his friends, which I found amazing. This is so healthy. He said, “He’s a little nerdy,” but I said, “I love him. He’s wonderful. He’s great.”
He is allergic to cats, but his sister has three cats. I also have my own cat. So we got into cat chatting. We were talking about tickets and my first thought was that I would throw my cat at an intruder.
We shared a caramel cream. I said a little bit, “I really shouldn’t have this. I’m pretty sure I’m lactose intolerant.” And it’s like, “OMG, the same thing.” But it was delicious, so we didn’t regret it.
I made sure to get their number at the end of the date. I’ve been texting him and giving him some talk. Hopefully, things go a little further. But even if I didn’t, it gave me a lot of confidence.
Verdict: 10/10
