Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson says his co-star Brad Pitt has a “good” list and a “crap” list of actors he will and won’t work with.
The pair star together in Bullet Train, directed by John Wick and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch.
Promoting his latest screen venture at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, the actor opened up about what it was like working with Pitt, Page Six reported.
Referring to Pitt as a “humble and kind human being,” the actor told Variety, “I think he’s in a new chapter in his life.”
Taylor-Johnson, who has previously starred in action films such as Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age of Ultron, continued: “I just want to bring light and joy to the world and be around people who are there to have a good time a little while.
“You work with a lot of actors and after a while you start taking notes: ‘Definitely, I will never work with this person again.’ Brad also has this list: the “good” list and the “s***” list.
A fight scene in the film – which opened in the US on Friday – between the two stars left Taylor-Johnson hospitalized after he suffered significant injuries on set.
After implementing a “crazy Keto diet” in an effort to get “lean and lean” for the film, the actor passed out due to “low blood sugar” shortly after suffer a hand injury.
“We were in a fight sequence and they kicked me across the room. And the one sharp piece in the corner where there wasn’t padding took a chunk out of my hand. I literally passed out.” he told Variety about the incident.
“Then I went back and said, ‘Should we go back?’ and they were like, ‘No, no, no.’ You have to go get stitches at the hospital. So I spent the night in the hospital,” she added.
“When you sign up for a David Leitch film, you know you have to have a couple of battle scars, some war wounds,” he added.
