Bradley Pen Dragon: A famous pedophile arrested about 48 hours after his release from Perth prison

Pedophile Bradley Pen Dragon has already returned behind bars, about 48 hours after being released from prison, amid allegations that he possessed images of children.

Officers arrested Dragon on Thursday, The West Australian revealed. He was to spend the night detained before facing Friday in Perth Magistrate’s Court.

It is unclear whether the images fall into the category of child abuse material.

His quick arrest shows authorities have been watching all of Dragon’s movements after Mark McGowan promised to watch him “very closely.”

“He’s the kind of person we’ll repress right away,” Mr. McGowan on Thursday, hours before his arrest.

“If it breaks, a ton of bricks will fall on it.”

The 62-year-old man was released from Acacia Prison on Tuesday by a strict supervision order, which includes 62 strict conditions under the WA government’s high-risk serious offender laws.

He received his latest conviction after spending hours watching child abuse material on the Internet at a backpacker hostel just two days after he was released from prison for stabbing a mother in front of her baby in Mt Lawley in 2012.

Earlier Thursday, Mr. McGowan admitted that he would have preferred Dragon to be still locked up.

McGowan added that he was not worried about the prospect of a “lynching mob” of parents worried about hunting down the “strange and offensive person.”

His comments responded to revelations his parents had launched into a witch hunt on social media to find Dragon. He is believed to have lodged in the south-eastern suburbs of Perth.
