A Brampton man was brutally attacked by three men, two with a machete and an axe, in an incident that was caught on video.
CTV News identified the victim of the attack as Joti Singh Mann, citing family members.
Singh Mann is a well-known real estate agent and podcaster.
The attack happened in the driveway of his home near Hurontario St. and Mayfield Rd. on Aug. 4, around 8:15 a.m., police told CTV News.

“This is an outrageous and horrifying crime,” said Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown. “I have every confidence in the Peel Regional Police to arrest and charge this person.”
The video shows Singh Mann getting into his white jeep when a man suddenly cuts his window with an ax and breaks the window. Singh Mann tries to defend himself as the attackers are coming at him. Then they put him on the ground and appear to stomp on him, although the footage doesn’t capture the full attack.

The brutal attack continues for some time until a woman runs out of the house, causing the attackers to flee.
The woman then runs towards Singh Mann, before entering the house.
CP24 reported that Brampton Councilman Gurpreet Singh Dhillon said he has visited Singh Mann in hospital and that his injuries include an amputated big toe, loss of mobility in one of his hands and that he has received approximately 25 stitches.
